• Proficiency in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) processes.
• Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages (e.g., JS, Python, or similar) is an advantage.
• 0-1 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with both manual and automated testing.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, OpenProject).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Efficiently managing time to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Job Summary:

The Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products within the organization. This individual is responsible for designing, executing, and improving testing procedures, while working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues. The main objective of this role is to bridge the gap between hands-on testing and strategic quality assurance, contributing to the overall success of the product by ensuring it meets the required standards before release. This position is vital for maintaining the integrity of our software and ensuring customer satisfaction through rigorous testing and quality control.

Job Description:

• Defect discovery rate (number of defects or bugs discovered by the tester during a specific period)
• Test case execution efficiency (the efficiency of test case execution, including the number of test cases executed per unit of time)
• Test case coverage (the percentage of requirements covered by test cases)
• Quality of bugs posted (comprehensive aspects of the bugs – steps to reproduce, test data, and other details)

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Collaborate with software/product designers to understand requirements and contribute to the creation of comprehensive test plans
• Analyze and document extensive test cases as per specified requirements.
• Prepare test scenarios, test scripts, test cases, and test results.
• Execute various types of testing including Sanity, Functional, Integration, and Regression testing to ensure the quality and stability of the product.
• Ensure test completion within the agreed timeline using tools and techniques specified by the Test/Project Lead.
• Ensure proper documentation of the testing deliverables such as test cases, RTM, Defect, and test metrics with minimal or no review comments.
• Perform regression testing to identify any defects caused by recent changes in the application.
• Be responsible for both functional and non-functional testing, either manual or automated using testing tools
