Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipeline management, automation, infrastructure-as-code, and cloud services. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for ensuring smooth deployment processes, monitoring system performance, and optimizing operational workflows across development and production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• CI/CD Pipeline Management: Build, manage, and improve continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to support frequent and reliable software releases.
• Automation: Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Jenkins.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Manage and optimize cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) with a focus on scalability, security, and cost-efficiency.
• Monitoring & Logging: Implement, monitor, and maintain infrastructure and application monitoring using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, and Nagios.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline deployment processes and improve team efficiency.
• Security: Ensure the highest standards of security for systems and data by implementing best practices and working with security teams.
• Performance Optimization: Troubleshoot, optimize, and fine-tune systems to ensure smooth running and high performance in production environments.
• Incident Management: Actively participate in on-call rotations for incident response, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
Key Requirements:
• Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar role.
• Skills:
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Strong experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes, helm).
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and logging frameworks (ELK Stack).
• Understanding of network protocols and cybersecurity principles.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications like AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer, or Kubernetes Administrator are a plus.
