Responsibilities & Context

• Design, develop, and execute manual test cases based on business requirements, wire-frames, and acceptance criteria.
• Write and maintain test automation scripts using tools such as Selenium, Postman for web and API testing.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data for both functional and regression testing.
• Perform end-to-end, integration, and exploratory testing across the system.
• Collaborate closely with developers, front-end/back-end teams, and product owners to identify test scenarios and resolve defects.
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman or automated scripts to validate request/response structures, performance, and data integrity.
• Log and track bugs in a clear, concise, and reproducible manner using tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or Trello.
• Validate UI/UX behavior, responsiveness, and accessibility in various devices and browsers.
• Monitor and contribute to CI/CD pipelines to trigger automated test execution and ensure build stability.
• Maintain documentation for QA processes, automation test suites, and test execution results.
• Support performance testing, security validation, and cross-browser/cross-platform compatibility checks as needed.
• Identify opportunities for test automation in manual workflows and propose improvements to increase test coverage and efficiency.
• Stay up to date with QA trends, tools, and best practices in test automation and manual testing methodologies.
