Additional Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in Python (Django/Flask/FastAPI) and/or Java (Spring Boot)
- Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Good understanding of software design principles, algorithms, and system design
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design, authentication protocols, and secure programming practices
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with cross-border payments or fintech systems
- Exposure to event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (React, Vue.js) is a plus

Position Overview
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with deep experience in Python and/or Java to join our core engineering team. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and scaling backend systems that power our cross-border payment platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance, secure, and scalable backend services in Python and/or Java
- Architect robust RESTful APIs and microservices to support our mobile and web applications
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver end-to-end features
- Optimize systems for performance, scalability, and maintainability
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and contribute to best practices
- Mentor junior engineers and help foster a strong engineering culture
- Ensure security, compliance, and reliability in all aspects of the code and infrastructure
