Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and usability.
- Conduct manual testing of web and mobile applications, identifying and documenting bugs, defects, and inconsistencies.
- Report and track defects using issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, ClickUp, Azure DevOps) and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Participate in team meetings, stand-ups, and code reviews to discuss testing progress and potential risks.
- Contribute to improving testing processes and methodologies, sharing insights for continuous quality enhancement.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies in software testing and QA.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field from a reputed university.
Experience Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 1 year working in the Field of Software Quality Assurance Testing or Related Field.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Knowledge of various testing techniques (functional, regression, usability, etc.).
- Proven experience in web, mobile, and API testing.
- Experience with project management and issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, ClickUp, Azure DevOps).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn, with a proactive approach to tackling challenges.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to shifting priorities and deadlines.
