Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Software QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in testing and ensuring the quality of our software products by identifying bugs, evaluating functionality, and collaborating closely with developers. You will help maintain high-quality standards by executing both manual and automated tests and supporting the development process.
Key Responsibilities :
● Execute tests to ensure product quality.
● Identify, report, and track bugs and issues in software.
● Collaborate with developers to address and resolve defects.
● Review and analyze system specifications.
● Conduct regression testing when bugs are resolved.
● Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
● Perform API testing using Postman and assist in wireframe and framework development.
● Develop and implement test plans, test scenarios, and traceability matrices based on business specifications and testing requirements. Requirements
● Understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies.
● Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JIRA).
● Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
● Knowledge of Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
● Strong analytical skills and experience in developing test plans and scenarios.
● Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
● Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Educational Qualifications:
● (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering or equivalent.
● Additional certifications in QA or testing tools are a plus but not required. Experience
● 1 year of professional experience as a QA is preferred.
Employment Status:
